definitely a mig. An arc will blow through anything thinner than structural steel.

A lot of people like Hobarts and Lincolns. Millers are good also.

No problem man, that's what this forum is here for...to keep your jeep on the road and repair money in your pocket to be used instead for delicious jeep modifications.

Distributor cap and rotor are the parts of the distributor that tell the spark plugs when to fire. You have to replace them. This is optional though if your jeep is running ok. Do a search to find out more.

I recently got a used millermatic 135 from a pawn shop and only paid $350. It's in very good condition and I definitely got my moneys worth. I have yet to really weld anything, just tested it to make sure it works properly.

is the blinker light on the dash staying on when the headlights are on? if so you likely just have a bulb that's burned out. Look for the light that's not flashing or lighting up

hey dukie i see you have 235/75 fires. how are those compared to the 235/70's i know its not a big numbers difference but im in the market for tires and im thinking what size i should get. i might go to 245's or stay with 235, that 1/2" difference

235/70s will be about 1" smaller diameter than 235/75s. 245s will not fit without rubbing.

This website calculator works great http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCal...?action=submit

Thanks that site was great. Yea I forgot the 245 is width but ok last question ghat site said you should go bigger than 3%. I'm running 235/70 on my DD. Going to 235/75 wouldn't be bad would it.
