Front shafts from xjs with the aw4 work good up to 4" of lift. If you got the $ build a new one.

why is this a thread. take a measurement go to the junk yard and get another one. hell for time being you could probably take your front driveshaft off and put it in the rear if it's the right length

oh you bought it all lifted and modded already? oh well yeah you don't have to buy a custom shaft. measure, then go junk yard hunting. front shafts are the same as the rear (when you have an SYE)

That is a FRONT driveshaft that is used with an SYE adapter on the XJ for the rear axle.

You will need to find a junkyard with some Cherokees and Grand Cherokees.

The front driveshafts ARE different lengths between years, transfercases and tranny combos.

Bring yours along to check lengths to be sure.

Why buy a new shaft and then risk that guide ball going bad too?

So I ended up just taking my stock front and puting it in the rear. My buddy is cutting the yoke off another cherokee ds with different splines and welding it on to the old
