what did you pay for your xj?
isn't an mj just a cherokee with a pickup bed. I guess el camino owners could say the same thing to chevelle owners under your umbrella of wisdom. But who is to say you paid too much? more than a $100 is too much or more than $1000 is too much. At least our $h!t is under cover.

this thread makes me facepalm hard....Xj's are just plain overpriced out here in oregon. just paid 3000 for my '95 with 146k on the clock. this was after searching craigslist for about a month, i got the best deal I could find.seriously....people here are asking 5-6k for xj's with over 200k and a few mods.. the good news is that mine was pretty well taken care of, full skidplate and tow package, no rust. totally blew through my modification budget with initial routine maintenance

Just bought an '01 Cherokee Sport 4x4 Auto, 138,000 miles, completely stock with new tires, new AC compressor, new heater core, new water pump, fairly new brakes, new radiator, new tires, was very clean (garaged kept), little spots of rust (due to living on the shore area, actually the Jersey Shore for that matter) When I lift her I'll make sure to run Snooki over LOL!!
Ran great and bought for $2500
then......I found I have a cracked head. Oh, well it's fixable. Still a great buy I think.
