1989 limited I think... has elect windows and locks. has 230k but alot of that we're tow miles, has a few leaks, nothing major.
1000k. they are really hot in so cal, I saw one today same year and mileage asking 3k... same lift also

$500 for a 98 limited last year, 135k.
This is my first car, and I plan to keep it for a long time (or until I find another cherokee for the right price).
Projects so far (complete)
front wheel bearings
front caliper (right)
front rotors
front pads
front u joint (left)
steering damper
rear shocks
muffler clamp
right mirror replaced
rear fender caps missing
AC clutch seized up - new belt + compressor + charge
starter solenoid blew - replaced starter
radiator exploded, probably due to PO never ever flushing (and me not knowing to do so)
both O2 sensors
headlight socket
tail light shroud
new battery + terminals
(in progress)
front prop shaft rebuild after angry sparrows
replacing all the u joints, straps, and socket yoke. disassembled tonight and parts ordered - thanks to all the people who wrote that up!
(need or want to fix)
left mirror cracked
windshield pitted, needs replaced but not urgent
large dent in hood will be there forever
driver's floor rotted out, needs plate
front windshield pump squealing but works - on order
front left caliper boots rotted - on order
air filter needs replaced
IAC needs cleaning
rear hatch bangs while driving, need to adjust latch
switch that turns off the indicator as you straighten out broke last week
power steering fluid leaks slowly
slight exhaust leak around manifold
Probably about $3000 so far into fixing it up, + maybe $750 in tools
Still, a steal compared to buying a new car
Going strong at 157k
Thanks a million to all of you guys who take the time to document your "simple" repairs. As an engineer and former machinist, I'm mechanically minded but have very limited prior exposure to cars. I'd be totally lost without the wealth of information you guys make available for free. Thank you!

500$ for a 2000, 214mi, 3 inch lift on it, new 4inch long arm kit in the back seat and the motor knocking. Beat it till the motor blew up, but the rad and compressor blew up at the same time and made a rediclous mess.
Since then, new motor, 6.5" long arms, and days spent fixing all the jerry rigging done by previous owner,

1999 classic that i paid 500$ for with 130,000 miles. motor has always had synthetic and it runs excellent. needed front axle rebuilt basically on the outer ends but thats done now. other than that it was definitely a steal. for extras i put new hd springs all around and a 2 inch budget lift so i actually have about a 3 inch lift. also built a front bumper out of an i beam and put a two inch receiver on it for my winch. as far as my own fault goes ive replaced the cat back 3 times from crushing it, its seen some hard trail miles for what it is hah
