what did you pay for your xj?
I just bought an 01' sport this weekend with 160k for $800 (I talked the guy down from $2000 ) I would have paid 2000 for it!
. I got lucky that the guy i bought it from knew nothing about what he had.

Thanks! It is off center, like when you lift the front the control arm will pull the axle towards the frame mount side. When you lift rear with lift shackle same result. Good eye. In person looks more centered, but it is a little forward. I plan to redrill hole on leaf spring plate when my 36s go on end of this year.
Got a 95 sport 100% free. My dads buddy ha given me a motorcycle that needed a hell if a lot of work. And my neighbor had broken a leaf spring in his Cherokee. He bought a whole bran new lift but he didn't know how to install it so I traded the motorcycle for his Cherokee and knocked out the new lift in 2 days (school definetly gets in the way sometimes) all in all, I think I made a great trade. Now time to turn it into a bada** off road machine.

I paid just under $30,000 for a fully loaded 4 dr. Cherokee Laredo when I bought it new in 1990. I put 275,000 km on it but it's long gone now.
In 2010 I paid $1,500 for a very basic 2 dr. 1995 Cherokee with just over 300,000 km on it. It looks and runs great and will be even better when I finish welding the new floors in it.
