$500 for my '97 that turned out to have a bad motor...4.0/auto/4x4 in decent shape but dented up front end.
parts jeep for it was $650...'98 4.0/5 speed 4x4 that was smashed to hell. converted it to a 5 speed.
sold it a few months later for $1800
another '97 for $800 with 240k...4.0/auto/4x4, ended up needing a new motor and trans...3" rancho lift. body in nice shape, needed floors
another '97 for $1000...237k 4.0/auto/4x4. bunch of sensors, exhaust manifold, etc. to make it work. may need a trans, but ZERO RUST and not one single dent.
comanches I've only bought one for $1200...the other 26 were $400 or less, with one being $800.

2000 Cherokee XJ SE, almost completely rust free, just a little bit of surface rust underneath, 111,000 Miles. It was very clean and got strong motor.

2001 limited with 80k on it was traded in at my buddys work by a 70 year old guy who bought it new with every service record done at the dealer i bought it at not a spot of rust on it paid 6000 for it out the door

b/t my 98 with a blown motor, the new(used) motor, and the 5 rubicon moab wheels/mtr's ive got about $1200 in my jeep. $1500 total with the winch bumper and misc parts
