My brother just gave me his for free.....2001 sport auto. Sunburst orange. 98k on it. Scored big! Had its first tire rotation in 6 years......bone stock.

 

4500$ for a 99' with 20,000 miles on it. No problems at all.



Then probably another 8000$ (maybey a little more) to get it where it is here.



And then probably another 3000$ to get to how it is today. It now has 160k miles and still running strong!

 

Paid 2k for my 2000 with 162k. Po just put new tires, alignment, battery, water pump, freeze plugs. New inspection sticker. Love it.

And now:

 

Owned an 88, 89, 90, and 92. Paid $400 each, biggest repair I've had to make on any of them to keep them running is ~$500 to replace the head on my current one.

1999 cherokee sport 161,000 miles, garaged and stored in the winter time (until i bought it) no rust at all no problems. perfect interior $2300. dirty in this picture after it's first snowbaording trip.

 

I paid 1200 for my 94 country. it has some holes and rockers are basically gone. motor runs great though. I wanted another since I sold my 99 sport. I like the looks of the country better though.

 

$5K for a 99 with 130K, its near perfect but....I think I overpaid.

 

$750 for my 92 with 309,000 now 310,000 miles back in October

 

paid 2000 for my 96 xj sport 4 door with 105k miles, perfect body and interior, but now it's getting a new role in life and being rebuilt for a trail/camp rig

 

My current xj... 92 laredo 33x12.5" tires american racing wheels. 5" lift. No problems PO never took it offroad.. 179,xxx got it for 1000$

$700 I've got a 98classic. Needed a radiator and water pump although owner was selling because his local shop said the head was cracked and it was going to cost more to fix than it was worth. I think he's still mad at me for getting it running for so cheap.
