$1100, needed... nothing actually. Paint was in horrible condition even though it was redone only a year before they sold it. Guy was selling it because he didn't want his teenage son driving without airbags.

Just bought my 4th jeep
3rd XJ and still have all 3 ( not much longer, parting out the worst one ).....$1000 Australian '95 classic, 266,000 kilometres, black, 4 new 31's, snorkel, 2 inch lift, LPG (propane) system, leather heated electric seats, overhead console, full electrics, alpine CD player. Bad bits - broken windscreen, front bumper damaged, right front quarter panel damaged, 1 bolt snapped in steering box, distributor bearing shot, rear main leak ???, rear drive shaft Ujoints stuffed. Need to turn ignition on with the key then open hood and short a wire to the battery to start !

Just bought mine yesterday. Paid $1,000 for a 1997 4-Door Cherokee Sport, 4.0L 4WD. Has 200k miles but I feel it was a fair deal. It runs great has a leaking transmission line but if it doesn't leak it's not a Jeep. I'm going to be able to build it up much cheaper than my JK.
