what did you pay for your xj?
traded my vw bug for my jeep when i moved from florida to colorado
only paid $1500 for the bug and put about $500 and a lot of sweat into her

55 oval window grafted in
full back date to 55 front and rear
suicide doors
300zx seats
lowered front and rear
etc
yea i miss her, but colorado is two things florida is not
cold as **** and hilly as ****
and she had NO HEAT and no *****. (1600dp but still stock carb)
it already had a lift and was fuel injected as opposed to my old 89 wrangler i had a while back so i wasn't to heart broken

immediately painted over the "awesome" camo

and am now working on the full cheromanche build linked in my sig

the build has me at around $400 plus my labor
plus the cost of the bug
so i would say $2400 total so far??

$3200 for 2000 with 138,000, breezed thru inspection, solid body, great interior, just started a weird knocking sound that the jury is still out on as to what it could be
Paid $4,500 for a 01 XJ with 85,000 miles a year ago. I live in NY, bought the XJ in PA (less salt on the roads= less body rot), engine light was on from day one (misfires).
- Since then, put $6,000 into it (lift, bumpers, tires, winch, etc, etc, etc), engine light still on. Hope I pass inspection here in NY this year.

$2700 for this 98 Limited with 135K 99% rust free CA miles. When I got it the motor mounts were shot and the header was cracked. I have about 500 into it with brown dog mounts, APN header, and the wheels/tires.

1700 for my 97 last summer. Have about 400 in it so far (rocker panels, fluids, filters, etc.) need a lil exhaust work and some gas mileage issues (9/10mpg all winter, best was 13mpg highway in the summer..wtf).
