The amazing part to me is how much there is left to do!
Seriously, though, thanks for the compliment. Its fun most of the time.
If your close we could get together, hang out and shoot the crap, or turn wrenches or even go wheeling.
You wouldnt happen to know how I could replace the dashboard without taking out the entire windshield? When we were parting out the other one we took the Windshield off to do it because I couldnt figure out any other way.

I started by cleaning up the loose wiring. I have noticed quite a bit of wire that goes to nothing, leading me to believe that equipment had been installed and poorly removed.
Another thing I noticed was what appeared to be aftermarket wiring attached to factory switches. For example a heavy gauge wire attached to the rear wiper switch, but it wasn't run to the rear wiper.
Maybe someone made an attempt to rewire things, I am not sure.
It will all be cleaned up, though. Pics will follow.

Worked on removing the dash on my lunch hour.
I labeled everything with a tag, hopefully that will help when it comes time to reassemble.
You can see some of the tags, and the heater controls, and tons of other crap.
Looks like a nightmare, but it's much simpler than I expected.

A few beers, my best friend, and some poorly thought out decisions brought that upon me.
And the fact that I have always wanted a sheetmetal dash helped.
