Looks like the floor is coming together. I am lucky enough to be off work due to my surgery that is the only reason I have been able to work on mine so much lately. Unfortunately my time is running out and i have to go back to work soon!

I will be honest, most of my laziness is less lazy and more of me spreading myself rather thin. Between the several projects I juggle, household chores and maintenance, work, and life, the XJ doesn't always get the attention she deserves.
And I would really rather drive the monster instead of work on her. Which, in all reality, is why its taken so long to even start the drivers side.
Passenger side is 95% complete. But since the drivers seat had to come out, I had to dedicate time where she ISN'T drivable.
And really, who the eff wanted their XJ to be undrivable?!?

Pulled my flares all the way off this weekend. Wanted to see just how bad the rust has gotten.
Looks like plenty of trimming will be done, which is OK with me.
Oh, pic of my part time helper is in there. Thing is trained like a dog. Its crazy.

Good question. I will take a pic of mine tonight.
Thing is, you should really have them tied into the frame somehow, or they'll bend whatever they are bolted to.

Last of the grinding was finished last night . Now I just need to remake the seat studs to bolt the seat back in place and I should have a drivable truck again.
