Lookin good man I like the idea of the stainless pins. I will have to keep that in mind after I go doorless next summer.

Haven't yet, but since you said it I will everytime I get out.

I will have to add the interior cleanup to my list now.

Maybe I can do that this weekend.

Went shopping for the truck this weekend. My exhaust has been giving me crap for quite awhile. I decided to replace everything from the manifold back. I will be doing the welding myself, and I will have a side dump just before the passenger side rear tire.

I know the cat isn't in the pic, but I don't have a high flow cat get, and I don't think everything would fit in the pic anyway.

The square flange at the end of the down pipe is nice, so I will be welding another to the cat so I can unbolt everything for the trails.

I sold my Ford F150 on Friday, and with it went the aftermarket tach I installed. I had intended to snag it and put it I the XJ, but I sold the truck to a good friend who really wanted it. I obviously let him keep it, so I got a cheap black faced tach that will look better than the white faced one would have.

Here it is...

I got lucky and the parts store in my area had one. I got all you see there, as well as a few universal hangers, some brake parts cleaner, and 6 NGK spark plugs for just under $100. Everything was in stock for a change, it was amazing!

I decided I didn't like the fact that the glasspack was bring red and didn't match anything else anywhere. So I got some 2000* high temp paint and went crazy prepping everything.

First to come off were the stupid stickers the parts store sticks on. I'm lazy so out came the wire wheel. My buddies was helping me out, so he got my drill and went to work with a sponge on the glasspack.

I hung them in my garage so I could paint them, I will do the same with the other few pieces I don't have yet. A chrome tip will finish it off. I have used one can total so far, I will probably get another. I have done several coats, I just want as many as possible.

Notice my special gas can in the background? Its for race gas.
