We got some light rain today but not much. Lasted several hours but barely made any puddles. Doubt I will find any mud tomorrow. Accidentally left my lights on for 30 minutes when I got home until a neighbor alerted me. Hopefully the battery is fine in the morning.
today i tested it over some bumps. I am able to take the bumps a lot quicker than i would with my short arms. It rides nice, but the lower links are straight, so my tires rub at full lock. I havent done any testing off road flexing yet, but i hope to soon.
Was cloudy and rainy this morning so I left my place at 5:30am and went for a drive. Once the Sun came up I was able to get some pics that I thought I would share. Every pic below is less than 5 miles from my home. Which is why I live here.

We got rain too. Heard it raining at 12:42 this morning and then realized I had forgot to tarp over the missing windshield in the Jeep. Lol
Hey man... I like the new tagline. Me too, but don't tell my wife.
I need to ask... Something we have already been discussing, but have you wondered why you are so attracted to those natural megaliths? I know why... They attract me too. And I am absolutely sure it is built into my DNA sequence from a longtime back.

Doh! It rained in your Jeep? That sucks, but as long as nothing shorted out once it dries it will be fine.
Megaliths? My Dad tells me I am 1/16th Cherokee but you are talking about many many MANY more moons ago. I get it.

They revere megaliths in Ireland, Scotland and all over Europe. All geographical cultures. There is something in man that makes us feel different, with a different energy when we are standing on top of a mountain or huge rock.
I know you feel this...
Have you put a multi-meter on one yet? They become much more than just a rock after you do man. lol

Well I have a multi-meter in the Jeep so I guess I need to try that...

Set it on Milli-volts... Both AC and DC and make notes. It will send you on a new path of higher learning. Here's one... Take a reading of yourself with a lead in one hand and the other in the other hand first. Then go out and do it again standing on one of these megaliths.
Better yet... Do it in your home, then out away from town, then on top of one of these and take notes.

Off work today so I toured an area I had not been before. Peralta Rd on the south side of the Superstition Mountains. Also went for a hike on the Lost Goldmine Trail. Here are some pictures.
On a side trail I took this pic. The trail was too narrow to go around this cactus so you literally drive underneath it. I took this picture while sitting in the driver's seat of my Jeep.

Here's my contribution to the picture gallery. My oldest daughter wanted to go "off roading" when I picked her up from school this afternoon so we went and crawled around in the desert a mile North of our house. All of 15 minutes but it made her day.

Very cool, and great pic! I remember being a kid and my parents taking me on short off-road trips just for fun. Even 5 minutes is way better than none at all.
