Just like anything, you have to set aside days to do that sort of stuff. I have several more things to replace on my Jeep before I will trust it with long trips but for now I still enjoy exploring locally.

We used to quite a bit, but this past year and a half has presented us with huge challenges and DAILY responsibilities we are stuck to. It's a mess and I would never have thought so many different things could happen all at once like this. You just wouldn't believe this list. I have to chuckle a bit when someone mentions they are having a problem, "only one? get a load of this list I got!" lol
Off work today so I did a little 4-low wheeling. Nothing too extreme but I did drag the receiver a couple of times, which is always a good reminder to keep saving for a lift and tires.
That last pic the trail goes down, then left, then down, then right. Really flexed the suspension a lot. Would have made for a cool pic from the outside but I didn't want to stop midway down and get out.
Haven't heard from Rocket for awhile, hope all is OK with him. I wonder if he gets to play hooky today. They called a snow day for the schools up there but will probably not for the university.

lol guys... Never fear... the Mouse is alive and kicking .........just working my a$$ off with some long hours.
Believe it or not they actually closed it for the Uni's here too that day. I was like seriously? Maybe it's because I'm originally from CO.... but that was NO snowstorm in my eyes. Where I grew up it snowed like that for days on end before they would close schools down. Not for like 6 inches of snow. I took the day, but it was laughable to me in all honestly.

^^ I feel ya there my friend. I've been there. It's not a walk in the park some days...but then I look back and think, if it weren't for having times like that, we wouldn't appreciate the days/times when it's not raining problems like a deluge.

Well I guess they decided to go ahead and close it too because no one was going to show anyways. Everyone was on the slopes! lol

Absolutely... Appreciate the good things and never take them for granted.

Plus... I'm a firm believer that no matter how tough it may seem at times... the big guy upstairs would never give any of us a hill He knew we couldn't climb.

Thanks. I have given up on us getting snow on the local mountains this year. Maybe next year...
I wouldn't give up quite yet my southern friend. I have seen it snow on the mountains south of you in the middle of April. As you know, the desert southwest is hard to predict.
