There are no build sheets for 87-89 jeeps. That was during the amc/chrysler takeover. Standards werent kept. Ask me how i know.

Yea there is. I tried to put a headliner from a 98 in my 91 because I wanted the sound bar. I couldn't for the life of me get it to work. Neither could I get the lights and brackets for them to work right.

I got a 95 for parts right now that has the sound bar. Its headliner is completely falling off but if the rest isn't rotted I may try and use that one and throw the sound bar and the 91 overhead console all back in there, if I get the lights to work.

There is one in the for sale section right now. Otherwise the only real other answers are;

Craigslist
eBay

Put your xj in neutral, chalk your tires(so you dont run yourself over),crawl under her. Firm grip on your driveshaft. And try to twist. If you have alot of play thats your rear u joint and its bad. Put her in park, repeat the twist, and that will tell you if your front u joint is bad

I dont know if anyone will know what im talking about but the cut out pattern in stock wheels has a small gap between itself and the rim and when it rains water pools up in there im assuming this will eventually rust the whole rim out should I get new wheels or is this not as big a problem as im making it out to be
