What type of TC do you have or did you say it was 2wd.

Have you check condition of the bushings and see if joints need grease. You did wiggle everything. Also have you gon under her , or close too, while a friend turned the wheel and gave a lil gas

TC meaning transfer case. Np231 if your gear selector looks like-2H,4H,N,4L and if you have a NP242-2H,4H,2 Fulltime,N,4L.

The reason I ask is if you have the np242 your vicious coupler could be going. Just something to check

There is a vender on here that sells kits for your rig with new pads for around $80. I'll search his name. It's brakemotive. Look him up. Good guy.

Default AC Delete

Anyone know of a AC Elimination write up, I think I have most of it out; Compressor, Condenser, Hoses, but I think I may need to plug some stuff and get rid of the accumulator? Gonna replace blower so my heat works without being on vent though.

Default Freezing front axle.

I'm trying to take my hub apart and got to the axle retaining nut. It is spinning freely (along with the axle). I have read that in order to keep the axle from spinning, I have to shift the jeep into 4lo. Now either I'm an idiot, my tc gears are broken, or I'm doing it wrong. Because the axle is still spinning freely. If anybody has any advice please shoot a reply back. otherwise the google search continues!

Just tosses it into 4hi.... it is stopped. IS something wrong with my 4lo? or do I have to keep my hand on the gear shifter to stay in 4 lo?
