Okay my jeeps running like crap it will start and idle for about 2 seconds just fine then die it will also die as soon as you give it gas but when I disconnect both the throttle poison sensor and map sensor it will idle better and allow me to give it gas without dying

Help! Ok vacuum canister! I took it off to relocate 3 days ago prior to my bumper install ok now the line broke so it was short.. I haven't got ne line to hook my canister back up yet!
I swear I have used 60 dollars in fuel in those past 3 days this is un normal..
Is this because of the vacuum leak or somthing else?
Thanks guys!!

i also have a the 3.1L chevy in it with a weber carb and a fuel regulator with a fuel filter right by it so i have 2 filters in the line is this correct for a weber carb? i know it only takes 2.5-3 psi but is the extra fuel filter necessary?

If your catalytic converter is malfunctioning or been tampered with, you will smell gas fumes like it's burning rich.

I have a question about Ring & Pinions for the D30 and C8.25 axle pairs. I found a 4.11 R&P for the D30 and a 4.10 R&P for the C8.25. Is that going to mess up the driveline since it's .01 off? I can't find a perfect match set anywhere...
Hi i have one question that i'm really concerned about...my 1996 jeep cherokee....when i disengage the TC from Part time to 2WD .....it takes a lot of time ..sometimes even 20 or 30 minutes for it to shut off.....
during this time ...can i drive on pavement or should i wait for it to get off..

Been done before - not too terrible if you know what parts to keep, which parts to swap. Don't change the computer - just use the Renix computer and sensors with the new block/head.
From the newer XJ (91-99):
Block
Head
Exhaust manifold and downpipe
Intake manifold
Cooling System (or convert your Renix system to open)
Throttle Body
PS pump bracket
Fuel Injectors and Fuel Rail
partial fuel lines (engine side)??
From your Renix XJ: (Swap to new engine)
All sensors, including the TPS & Renix Distributor
Exhaust system (cat back)
all engine accessories, brackets (except PS bracket)
Flywheel (VERY important - matches Renix CPS indexing)
Partial fuel lines (tank side)??
The biggest snag with this swap is usually adapting the Renix TPS to the H.O. Throttle Body, but there's quite a few guides floating around for that.

That'll be ok. Weird they list it as 4.11...you sure it's for a Jeep Dana 30?
I've been reading a lot about flushing the heater core and there is a lot of talk about burping the cooling system afterwards. There's talk about flushing a lot of different years but if I'm reading it right you only need to burp closed systems. At least one specification site says that coolant systems newer than 90 are all open systems. So if you have a radiator cap then you have an open system and do not need to burp it. Is that correct?
Thanks
Thanks
