Take a bolt out and measure diameter and thread.

Depends what t-case you have, and just really what brand you prefer.

my guess would be the Crank Position sensor. your steering wheel shouldn't lock up, you just lose power steering making it a ton harder to steer.

Default lift kits

Are there any lift kits that should be avoided?

I have owned my 2000 XJ for about 6 weeks. I don't know any of the maintenance history on it so I figure I need to replace all the fluids. Has anyone used Royal Purple? Is it really that good or are you just paying $8.50 a quart because big names endorse it? I have a list of Recommended Mopar Fluids, but just want your thoughts.

Mostly just the name, I'd stick with valvoline synth. or mobil 1.

I'd suggest a HD SYE, PORC makes a very good one. T-case drops are good for temp. use until you get the sye.

I would avoid AAL lifts, especially with a 4.5" kit. I don't like Rusty's lifts either. JMO though.

Do you have a welder? If you do, you could weld a nut onto the stud since you aren't going to re-use them.

ill have to try that. im just baffled on why it only does this after it warms up and has been driving around for a while. it shows no problems untill after a few miles of running around.

I'm a little concerned, my ZJ has completely stopped leaking tranny fluid and is running better that ever! It used to leak everywhere. What could be the issue? Seriously!?

Have you been checking the fluid level? It hasn't dropped any and is still full? More info is needed.
