Yes if you cut it all out. you might want to take the cable out of the drum also.

do you have drive line vibration? Did you lift your XJ over 3"?

you can. However I would recommend fixing it. An e brake comes in handy especially if for some reason the hydraulic part of the brakes go out.

If you are having ignition problems it might solve them but it may also affect performance and cause engine codes. Gain in power would be minimal if at all. Usually the most benefit of aftermarket ignition comes with a proper tune.

An SYE would be a good idea then. I don't think a TC drop would solve your problem with such a high lift.

Make sure all your front susp. bolts are tight. Check the tie rod ends especially.

Default Stock Speakers

Now that I have solved my radio memory issue I want to replace the old Jensen stock speakers in my 92 xj. Looks like they are 5-1/4". I tried looking online at Bestbuy and the only show 2 that will fit in the 5.25...and they were the most expensive on the site. So, have you all had issues with putting in new speakers in the doors and the liftgate?
