Anybody got a good link for a door hinge pin/bushing replacement (the actual parts required and/or a DIY) for a 1993 Cherokee? The door is sagging and it's not the hinge (hinge was re-welded by the PO). It's my understanding that the earlier door pins were different than later model years; I am confused about what parts/process is right for a 93. Thank you for the help.
MOPAR Factory P/Ns for the hinge pin w/ bushing is 04638276 and 55074639. Unfortunately, it's a discontinued part w/ no aftermarket support. So unless you come across a dealer that has some leftover NOS, you're unfortunately out of luck.
However, if you want to remove the hinge pin and try to "fab up" a bushing yourself, it's best to remove the hinges from the doors and then bang the hinge pins out.
Start with removing the "inboard" torx bolt first. Once that is out, the other two are accessible through holes in the body side of the hinge by removing the fenders -or- with a combination of extensions. Once they are LOOSENED, open the door back up and finish removing the bolts.
FWIW, you may just be better off throwing another shim between the hinge and the door on the lower hinge to move the door "up" a little to remove the sag. Would be much easier than going to all the work of removing the pins and finding out it wasn't going to work the way you wanted it to.
Looking for a sanity check. Driver's side window stopped working in the down position. All other windows work from all other doors, locks work. Replaced the control not long ago, used the old one, same symptoms.
Removed the panel, traced power to this plug (in pic). Since that connects to the motor, my assumption is that the motor is bad given it is getting power.

Am I off track? (Partial Pun partially intended.)
Grab the battery off your cordless drill, make yourself some "jumpers" with some alligator clips and insulated wire, attach the clips to the positive and negative terminals on the battery pack and the other end to the leads on the motor's harness and see what happens. Also try reversing polarity.
If nothing happens, then you know it's the motor. If it works one way, but not the other, it's still the motor. If works both ways, well you've got a problem somewhere else either in the switch or the wiring itself.
OK, so I went outside today with the determination that I was going to get the blower motor out (or at least check the wiring to it) and that went **** up pretty fast as I couldnt undo the bottom washer bottle bolt. But, upon inspection I see NO wiring in the engine bay for the blower fan and looking inside the jeep, seems the mass of it is under the dash (still couldnt see wiring) so I have no idea WTF to do at this point to check that. No AC/Heat for me I guess.
But whilst I was dicking around in the engine bay, I found these 2 plugs not attached to anything. Im not really too worried, since mine is the BASE (perhaps lower than base..) SE version but just in case... Yall know what these are for? They were basically under the fuse panel on the passenger side.

One should be for an underhood light harness. Not sure about the other one.
Finally found pics showing how to get the blower motor out, went to try again to get to at least the wiring, and the washer bottle came out this time (without removing the bottom bolt!). Plug looks brand new (but then again, you can eat off the motor) so I got pissed and pulled a Jeremy Clarkson and hit the motor with a hammer a few times with the engine running and AC turned on. Wouldnt you know it, it started working fine! Turned it off a few times as well as the key, everything worked as it should
Granted, at some point Im sure I need a new blower, but for now its working. And now Im going to have to figure out how to get those 3 damn bolts out holding it in since they seem to be either rounded or too short to grab with my sockets.
lol... yeah your alternator is TOAST. Only thing, as far as accessories go, that you shouldn't be able to turn by hand is the ac compressor once the clutch is engaged.... and even then, you can still turn it, it's just met with a lot of resistance.
Missed this. Thanks! And when I slid under to replace it, I saw it was split at the vents. Didn't need to waste posts by asking, I guess but there's a bit of knowledge I now have.

BUT I ****ING WIN!
Glad you got it workin' for now.
As far as those bolts go... look for these at your local auto parts store. I was skeptical to their claims at first, but they made a believer out of me quickly when the first rounded-off bolt was removed without much effort at all.

Never a wasted question. Always an opportunity to learn. And now you know one of the things to look for... and why people always complain about the alrternator being mounted low in the engine bay
I replaced the head gasket a few weeks ago and forgot to put sealant on the #11 headbolt and have driven it for a couple weeks and just started to notice my oil is milky what should i do? Could i remove the bolt and seal it and retorque it and it be fine?

Let me ask you something. Why did you replace the head gasket in the first place? We're you losing coolant or have milky oil before hand?
