I was just curious if anybody has used the liquid iron industries xj shackle relocation bracket and if they had a tow hitch? I'm wondering if the bracket gets in the way of the tow hitch or if they interfere with one another. I want to get a row package for my Cherokee sport but would also like to ran the shackle relocation bracket and want to make sure they will work good together.
No, I don't lick fish.

I know this is not an xj specific question but what could be the cause of what sounds like my lifters clacking on not too hard acceleration?
OIL level is ok, although I could add half a quart.

well it looks like all the parts for the transfer case are going to be here this weekend, not sure when the driveshaft will come in. I ordered it early in the week so maybe this week maybe next. If the driveshaft doesn't come in should I just go ahead and rebuild and drive it for the hour drive to and from college with the bad shaft (would only have to do this once at most and once at college it sits till I drive back) or wait till I get the shaft to rebuild? Last trip it started leaking pretty bad.
My jeep runs fine when you get in it and fire it up, after 45 minuites or so when it warms up it starts skipping. so far ive changed the fuel filter and cleaned the throttle body etc. any threads here close to my problem that might be helpful for me to look at or does anyone who has had the same problem have any ideas as to what to do next? thanks in advance for your input!!

Can anyone tell me the length and pitch of the screws that attach the lift gate hinges to the door itself. All 4 of mine snapped. Also, any idea what they screw into or how I can reattach the door if I am unable to get the originals out cleanly?

i thought I had exactly that until I found a crack in my manifold, now I think the ticking is caused by that and will figure it out when I install the new header, so it's something to keep in mind.

it has an sye in currently, the rear output is leaking because the shaft vibrates so bad it wallowed out the bearing, but the front shaft vibrates also. They both need replaced and the transfercase needs rebuilt.
