Thank you for all of that, I didn't even think about the gearing.
e-12 is a bolt size on the bell housing near the top.only people who can help are people that had to pull the engine and deal with those 2 f'ing bolts.have to buy a e-12 wrench that you cant find anywhere.had to order it for 25 bucks.

For anyone else wondering about those two E12 bolts, the easiest way to get them out is by dropping the crossmember and tilting the engine+transmission assembly back by lowering the transmission down with a jack. This provides more clearance between the bolts and the firewall. Then take them out with an E12 socket, a swivel, and extension(s). Then replace them with hex head flange bolts so you don't need to mess with the E12 socket anymore.

Put a jack under the crossmember. Remove the 4 bolts/nuts holding it to the uni-frame rails. Lower it down and get a straight shot at the bolts.
Hopefully you haven't removed all the other bolts yet......

I didn't have to pull my engine to deal with it... I just took the transmission out. And then put them back on when I swapped the transmissions.
