Spinning the caliper (with the line attached) would force me to spin it 360 degrees putting too much of a twist into the soft line.

I ended up putting it back together with the hard line pointing down and everything seems to be working fine.

No idea. Pictures without model numbers are useless... pretty much all EV1 fuel injectors look the same.

Have you thought about you asking the guy selling or perhaps people who bought and installed them?

I could here a sizzling and boiling sound coming from it. Lol. So I waited till the noses stopped and got out of the trails. By that time it was night so I just parked it and let it cool down. I checked the trans fluid and it looks like coffee creamer and comes almost to the top of the dip stick. Next day, I checked the trans fluid and it's at normal levels but is still creamy colored. Took it around the block and it drives/shifts fine, just as good as before. Not sure if I messed anything up or not, am I find with just a full 8qt fluid change or is my trans soon to be toast?
The AW4 is tough but you probably shortened the clutch life a fair bit.

Do a fluid change and see how it acts.

So I got a 2000 xj. I have had a cracked head for a couple months now. Right between 3 and 4 cylinder like the rest. Well the other day I herd a small ticking noise. Well about three days later that tick turned into a knock. It sounded like it was coming from behind the timing chain cover. So I started there. I'm not seeing a problem now. Another problem is now I got massive amounts of coolant in my oil. Before with the cracked head you could barley tell by looking at the oil. Anyone got any ideas what I broke

For one, coolant in the oil is a symptom of a cracked head. It isn't a minor issue; it's something that should've been addressed immediately.

Sounds like the crack got worse, and the coolant may have thinned out your oil enough to do bottom end damage

You broke your engine.

Should have replaced the head when the bottom end was still good. Time for a new one.

Cool Power steering fittings?

Hi All,
I just put a 93 4.0 from a Cherokee into a 74 CJ-5.
Now I need a power steering hose to connect the two.
Does anyone know what fittings are on each end? the 93 power steering pump? and the 74 steering box?
Any help would be appreciated.
thank you.

So i posted earlier that my trans fluid looks like chocolate milk and I was gonna do a full 8 quart flush by disconnecting the return line and running new fluid into the system until it's red again. But not I'm wondering if I should just do a drain and fill and then repeat this after every oil change till its red again. I read that doing a complete 8qt fluid change all at once can cause damage because the tranny isn't used to it. What should I do? Thanks

Oh sweet jebus. Just do several flush and fills. Drain 2 qts, refill drive a few miles and repeat. Do a few times and ser what happens. Either way get that crap outta there

Alright,,will do. I have i have 10 qts of dex/merc that I'll use. Trans still runs and drives great surprisingly. I should probably extend my breather, I think it's what is causing this.

6 pinion planetary has more torque rating (it comes from NP241's from Chevy and Dodge pick up trucks.)
