I think so too, I know it runs behind the engine and then to the back left corner of the engine bay but I don't know what it hooks up to or why I don't have it and my friends does

what year is yours? Usually if someone did the 99+ manifold upgrade. They would plug that line. If yours is a 99 or up. Then there's a vacuum line missing

But to be absolute certain, let's carefully check out the engine compartment for any broken or missing connections

I have a 99, this is what it runs to on my friends

And whatever is back there on his i don't even have. I just have my Vacuum ball relocated there

Honestly wouldn't know what to look for to answer that question, but if you tell me I will look

*** looks like I don't have the Leak detection pump (LDP).... But I do have the solenoid and test port for the system

I have a 99 and I had a cracked plug that I replaced with a red cap. In fact it looks like you snapped a pic of my engine. It's some kind of vacuum, maybe for cruise control?
