Any of you used the dirtbound offroad cable shift linkage? My np242 pops out of 4lo when I get one of my front tires really jammed up on a rock. Been doing it even on mild hill climbs lately and it's really kinda embarrassing to hear"dude put you jeep in 4x4" lol
I know it could be that little white washer I have heard about but I would like to get rid of the stock linkage for good.

doing things like this don't help much either

I'm ordering hd frame stiffeners Friday and then after those get burnt in I'm gonna cut up to the door seals and put a stick of 2x6 on there. Brace from that to the unibody with 2x2.
All that= no unibody flex
I found a thread where a guy reviewed the linkage and said it felt great. Just was wondering if anyone had any experience with it before I spent 170$ on freaking t case linkage lol

No. Just kidding. Mud/ Snow/ Wet and Dry pavement/ Gravel / Dirt. Maybe big and little rocks if I get the hankering. Everything you listed but prob not much sand.
