I'm pretty sure I'm in the clear, but wanted to check.

I recently changed the transmission fluid a few weeks ago, and now I am having a minor issue with the transmission.

My transmission has always entered the gear selected immediately. No hesitation, no waiting.

It is still connecting immediately in Drive, but Reverse is taking anywhere from 5 to 20 seconds to engage. It's never done that since I owned it.

This started after I made a high speed (really!) 200 mile trip. The next morning, I spotted a small fluid leak. Nothing major, maybe 10 drops or so.

When I got under to look, I noticed the rubber hose was brittle and moist. Subsequently, I changed the hose and no more leak. It did not make a noticeable change in the fluid level.

Any idea on what may be causing the hesitation?

Anyways I broke the case open and started the install. Figured I would change the fork bushings and chain since I'm in there. Bearings felt great so no need for an overhaul kit.
But at my local four wheel parts there are a few chain options. How are be alloy USA chains? I'm guessing there is a reason their 60$ less than crowns and omix-Ada's ?
I've heard great things about Borg Warner's but if I could save the money I would get the alloy usa. What chains are y'all putting in your 231s?

I know my 93 cherokee has a gm ignition key that I'm fairly sure isn't OEM. Not sure it works backwards but apparently your can put an ignition cylinder from a 80s into a 93... hope that helps? Edit: The door key is oem and is a jeep (Chrysler?) style key... had to get the code for it from the dealer after I bought the thing... didn't come with door keys.

Call up your local parts house and see if they have one of each on the shelf, and then compare them see if they're the same.
