Quote: It's more work running 2 sets of wires to a DPDT switch instead of splicing in an extra 8" of wire to existing loom and buying the second IAT. I have 1 in the Airbox and 1 in the TB. October and March/April I swap back and forth.
Just leave it in the air box. No worries.

Jeep is clunking a bit on left turns. It's a specific spot. Everything is tight and stout, I had a friend turn the wheel while I observed.

Ideas? Pwr steering is fine besides that. Maybe the box just needs and adjustment?

Is it constant while you hold the wheel at that spot, or does it do it once when you turn your wheel past it?

Lol, too late for me. I already have the 2 sensors installed. I don't even think I ever saw a difference between the two locations anyways. There def is a difference in the temps it reads but jeep drive smooth all year round.

The clunking on mine in a left turn, turned out to be the track bar rod-end where it's mounted the the frame bracket. Took me a while to find it....
The tapered stud on the rod-end was loose in the frame bracket, like the PO had had it replaced & not torqued up correctly....

Mines double shears. That's why I am lost. I am going to look again tomorrow, when it's light out and not 11°.

Salad gave you an informative reply, buddy. We appreciate you coming to our forum, but we don't specialize in that vehicle. Your Cherokee was marketed as a Liberty on our side of the pond, and the guys here aren't familiar with them.

Here's his reply again:

Ahoy there,

Chrysler renamed the "Cherokee" line of vehicles in 2002 for the North American Market. This forum is primarily aimed at the XJ platform, which was the Cherokee from 1984-2001. Your KJ Cherokee, which here is called a Liberty, is a strange and mysterious animal to us(ESPECIALLY with the 2.8L CRD). However, the guys over on this site here know tons about that vehicle: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/

Good luck, thanks for stopping in!

So far as the tire sensor light goes, the only way you're going to get the light to go off is to get that fourth tire fitted with a sensor. Stateside they're anywhere from fifty to a hundred bucks at the local tire shop. Run the exchange rate and I can't imagine they're much different. So far as the throttle sensor is concerned, chase Salad's link because individual jeeps are all their own little worlds. Best to talk to someone with intimate knowledge of your beast.

rear power window 1999 Sport
I've read a ton on fixing the power windows but I have a question that I'm not sure has been addressed. My driver's side rear window does not work. Motor makes no sound as if no power is going to it.
What is the likeliest cause?
A: bad motor
2: bad connector
Tertiary: a problem with main driver's switch
Finally: none of the above
Furthermore: something obvious that only an idiot could miss

2 and tertiary.
