Have someone inspect your steering who is familiar with it.

Good observation, yes it's normal and can make for a wild ride in the whoops when the suspension cycles rapidly. The movement is non-linear, the higher the lift/droop the more movement side to side.
Did you notice what else is rotating during suspension cycle? The wheels/steering. As the trackbar shifts the axle side to side, the wheels also turn accordingly.
Also check for clearance while at droop, turn the steering wheel to right, look for contact/conflict between draglink and swaybar mount on axle.

Hi there. I'm totally new to this so apologies if I'm not putting this in the right place. Never been on a forum and first time Jeep owner.
I have a 95 cherokee, since I bought it it's had shift issues.
Holds first gear too long, skips straight from first to fourth in D. If I select 3 it will shift from first to third then I'll move to D to select fourth. At times when 3 is selected it seems to shift 1st to 3rd then to 4th then when I actually move the selector to D the revs drop as if it's grabbed another gear (May be locking up torque converter) then after a few seconds revs lift like it's unlocked and selected 4th again. All very strange, from what I've researched I'm thinking it could be TCM issue but thought I'd check with you guys for an opinion.
Other than this it's a great rig and I'm Australia's newest Jeep fan!!

Second you can adjust the TV cable on the THrottle body. It's the cable closest to the left(front of jeep) on the TB. Depress the grey button, push the plunger in and release the grey button. Go inside your jeep and press the accelerator peddle all the way to the floor board and you should hear the cable click as t adjusts. If your jeep is RHD, I hope if the cable I mentioned is opposite so done will chime in

Cheers on the jeep and making it to the forum. Two things to try first. First since this jeep is new to you, you should check the tranny fluid and do several drain and fills via the drain plug on the tranny and replace with fresh dex/merc III. It'll take about 2-5 changes and about 50-125 miles between each change (although I did only 25 miles). I forgot how much exactly I used to refill each time.

Only one way to find out about MPGs
I averaged 17 once when i had 33s on a 3" lift towing a trailer that weighed about 3k lbs doing all highway driving. Now i average about 13-16 with 32s since i've done a few more things to the Jeep.
