Couple of questions:
91 XJ cruise control doesnt work. The turn signal stalk is a tad loose but works fine, holds signal positions and kicks back after turn, wiper functions work. The stalk is old and paint is worn (doing a tad bit of resto too). How hard is this to swap? I've heard wheel has to come off and column taken apart.
Second, difficult swapping a Grant steering wheel on?

I have to change my turn signal switch too. Right turns cancel, but left turn doesn't. I have the new one, but too lazy to change it. I wouldn't be surprised if the release spring inside has popped out.
IIRC, you have to drop the steering column (could be wrong) to pull the harness up and out and insert the new one.
None of this is difficult, just a little time consuming.

Does the d30 have a bigger carrier than the d35? I have a 27 spline aussie locker that didn't fit my D35 so i'm assuming it's either for a D30 or 8.25, looking to sell it.

They're not exactly interchangeable between axles. They're designed to fit in one axle. Look for part numbers on it.
Ok so I had a question, I have a 1999 jeep cherokee sport 4x4 and the i6 engine, I'm hearing a knocking noise not from the engine but from below my feet, It used to only happen when I would first take off, but now when I'm stopped it will do it also, I looked at both driveshafts and no play, I was think engine mounts was the problem and I didn't see any rubber in them, so my question is do you think that is the cause?

Salad has some photo comparisons of stock headlamps with, and without, the supplemental harness that he's working on.
Not either of our own photos, but nonetheless excellent documentation, and salad is gonna make it so simple that we can post it in all those hairbrained lighting threads with confidence.
I'm going out to the garage now for an ice cold adult beverage.
