Acceleration is fine. Excessive RPM makes boom. Cherocar is not racecar. I'm not entirely certain these things HAVE a rev limiter... keep away from the red lines.

Yeah but that's what, 70 MPH on a Renix?

This too. I keep forgetting older XJs have serviceable filters. Might have rocks in it.

Correct. The hazards work as they should.

You turned your hazard switch off to test the blinkers right? Blinkers won't work if hazards are on

On my 91 d35 it was a 12 point bolt.

Pinion retaining bolt?? You mean the nut on the pinion yoke? Those should be hex nuts

The turn signals and hazards each have their own relay, and you know the wiring and bulbs are good because your hazards work.

Seems to me the turn signal flasher relay went bad, so I'd start by replacing that. It's under the dash on the fuse panel, and it's only a couple bucks.

If that doesn't work, it may be a problem with your multifunction switch (aka turn signal lever).

I think he means the inset bolt you have to take out to drop the spider gears.I think he is trying to install a locker.

I see. The crosspin retaining bolt should be like 6mm or 1/4" 12-point
