If they're lead clamps and old enough, use a flat head and blunt object to break it apart. Worked on mine just don't shock the **** out of yourself lol. Replace with marine brass terminals (walmart for like $5-7).

 

Whoops, I meant the clamps! I finally got my negative clamp off first. Should I disconnect the ground when I do that stuff too?

Also, the negative clamp looks like ****. Looks like it's been hammered on a few times, and there was a paper clip jammed between it & the terminal?? Maybe to make it easier to remove? What was the PO thinking? It's going to be above freezing tomorrow, so hopefully I can get my new headlights & harness installed & aimed.

A few years back I saw an XJ that was being used for a private contractor/security vehicle. It was green and had tube doors, bedlined floors, lifted.
It used to have a 30 cal. ring turret on the roof but was removed. Has anyone seen or heard of this XJ? I saw it a on Craigslist a few years back.

Ha ha ha. Serious question: Is going 3-4 months without a replacement track bar going to ruin my front end? Just street driving over the winter. Trying to stretch the budget if I can, but otherwise I'll get the IRO trackbar & bracket. I would rather spend $200 now than $500 in parts later. Also if I replace that, does it mess up alignment? I imagine it would but the front end isn't terribly complicated. I just got an alignment done after my lift so I'd rather not have another done but whatever :| My tires are pretty fresh nahimsayin

3" coil lift on the front w/ new shocks, stock control arms. Waiting on new bushings to replace the control arms.

 

Lifted stock TB will just wear faster. To keep your axle centered, do the drill relocation mod until you can put a real one on there, but don't expect it to last forever. Won't damage anything. (you might egg out the hole you drilled, but again, it's temporary)

 

The main thing is that if the body side of the trackbar were to fail, the jeep will be uncontrollable which could lead to a collision. The trackbar is not going to effect your alignment.

 

So I did some research and heard a lot about heat soaked. I wrapped my injector and fuel rail along with relieve the pressure in the fuel line. I'm still getting code p0303 and it's still stuttering and running rough in all gears (park, reverse, drive and neutral). Any suggestions on what to try next? I've thought about moving my number 3 injector to another spot to test it just haven't done it yet.

Still waiting on the answers to the other questions as to spark plug you put in and the condition of the one you removed...

 

I believe it was a champion spark plug and it was kinda dirty. I thought it was oily but after looking at it closer it was just carbon

 

Champion makes many different kinds of spark plugs. You should've install RC12ECC.

Condition of the old plug speaks a thousand words.
