Quote: Anyone know where to buy Mopar Jeep emblem that goes on the front of the XJ? Every one I see is either for another model or is aftermarket (reviews typically warn against these due to poor adhesion).
Thanks,
Mill

I got an 89 XJ with exactly the same problem . I was told the ac issue was lack of vacuum but I have Vacuum all the way back up to firewall I changed out the AC/heater control switch panel and still have same issue .

1996 fuel pressure regulator on pump
Is the only place to get a fuel pressure regulator for a 96 the junkyard? I did some searching and couldn't find anything. One place had a complete fuel pump assembly for $700!! Maybe swap it for a newer year setup?

Are you trusting the dash gauge or using a meter at the battery?

Use a meter and post up the voltage readings.

You two need to look at this diagram.

Keep in mind you WILL most likely have vacuum at idle. It goes away when accelerating if there's an issue in the vacuum system.

As for the 99, some of your vents may be controlled electronically.

CCA is the rating of a battery.

Buy a $5 meter and check this stuff yourself.
