I have a 94 XJ so it I can't guarantee it's the same but if it is hanging under the passenger side of the dash, I think it connects to the blower resistors.

 

The thing is, I can't see any female connector that this would fit into.

 

Look for a male 4) spade connector. It should be aprox. under the glove box.
BTW, does the heater/air blower fan work?

Looked on the ZJ forum here but couldn't figure it out. What is the backspacing of ZJ stock wheels typically, the same as XJ? 5.25" ? Picking up a set possibly.

 

Same. I'm not sure if Canyons use the same backspacing or not. Regardless, they're 8" wide instead of the standard 7". If they are the same backspacing you get 1/2" or so less tire inside.

 

Cool thanks. All the ZJ stuff is 8" wide or just the canyons? That would also put about 1/2" closer to the inside too yeah? Though I guess it wouldn't puff out as much but just barely. I'm mainly worried about rubbing my control arms and redoing my steering more so than looking bad a totally sw33t d00d at the mall. I need something better than my half baldies for going into the snowy mountains this ski season, and dragging this ******* dirt bike I just bought around. Ha ha.

Going to be getting a new track bar & tie rod for this soon too to help handle any extra tire size.

I've always been a huge advocate of worrying. It's such a productive process.

I would begin worrying immediately and not stop until the bolts are loose.

 

Just the Canyon rims are 8" wide. Given the same back-spacing, 1" wide rim means 1/2" less tire protrouding over the inside edge.

 

Got 'em on my 90 MJ and 88 XJ. Nice............

Alloy wheels tend to be a hair lighter than steel ya? Figure that might help everything drive a little smoother in the end.

That shows it as "M/H" offset and the CHerokee stockers as "M". Putting my wheels in farther sounds crappy! ha ha.
