Since I have had this Jeep, the blower motor has only worked on the highest setting which was a bit inconvenient but not a problem.
Now, just as the weather has gotten cold. It has started to work only intermittently. It seems to "kick in" several minutes after the engine gets up to temperature.
Is this something the experts out there have seen before? Is it an easy fix?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Where exactly on the axle is the stamp for gear ratio? I have a 98. Classic, AW4, HP D30, C8.25, I6, 4x4. Just want to make sure I have 3.55 or 3.73 before ordering 4.10s and new front carrier. Don't want to buy it if I dont have to. I have a hitch but don't know if its stock or a PO added it
And the stamp is on a tag, which is bolted on the d30 cover.

Question about my battery. When I start my XJ, the battery is usually around 10 volts (tested brand new batteries), the alternator only starts charging it when I am above 2-2.5K rpms. So my voltage only get up to 14v when the engine is under load.
Is that normal, or is my alt dying?

Eliminate the battery as a possibility first, especially if it's under warranty. Load test it and also check for a bad cell. (This can happen on "brand new" batteries, and a load test won't necessarily catch this.)
Does it start charging at that rpm and then charge normally or does it ONLY charge at that rpm and then stop when it falls back to idle?
Either way, it sounds as if the alt. may not be self-exciting properly, which could be a problem with the regulator itself or in the ignition wiring.
When I re-wired the charge/start/ignition system on my DJ5, I went simple and ran the alt in a "one wire" configuration, so when I would start the jeep, the alternator wouldn't begin charging until I began driving, or if I barked the throttle, but we're talking like maybe to 800 or 900 rpm, after which it charged normally until shutoff.
Pull it and have it tested.

Question. How do you measure front shocks if rears are eye to eye. Is it tip o stem or base. Ex, rubicon takeoff shocks are 14" compressed. Thanks in advance

So since its gotten "cold" my steering is starting to do odd things. If i have to leave without letting the jeep warm up ill turn the wheel for the first time and itll sorta get stuck. With a tug the steering will "break free". Also since it got "cold" the steering has been a bit looser ill be turning on an on ramp to the freeway with the wheel in the same position the whole time and the jeep will cut hard suddenly then drift back. My steering has whined at full turn since i owned it so i always avoided full turning.
What should i inspect first? I already checked the fluid, it was a strange pink color and considering i used power steering fluid in it that isnt pink it was a tad odd. Its also been known to blow fluid out of the cap every so often, id always just top it off.

If that doesn't work, your pump may be bad.
