XJ Ask the Question Thread
I've got this weird clunk as I start my Jeep, it feels like its coming from underneath in the middle somewhere. It only happens once while I'm starting it, and it only happens on cold starts. Any ideas what it could be? Trans mount bolts are tight It also seemed to start when I got new exhaust, not sure if that's related.
There's more.. It's developed a consistent dip in rpm when at idle. It also hesitates and won't accelerate past 4k rpm. Normally when I start the jeep the blend door is closed. Recently it's been closing after I start it. This seems to be in conjunction with the stumble. The broken head will be fixed soon. I'm hoping this will help.

Right on. Thanks man. This makes me think that the quick fix I did is impeding the system. I used old washer fluid line as replacement vac lines for a couple broken vac lines. Specifically the rear CCV to intake manifold and the long line from fire wall to intake manifold. All check valves are good.
