Exhaust hitting x member is first thing that comes to mind.

Right on. Thanks man. This makes me think that the quick fix I did is impeding the system. I used old washer fluid line as replacement vac lines for a couple broken vac lines. Specifically the rear CCV to intake manifold and the long line from fire wall to intake manifold. All check valves are good.

There's more.. It's developed a consistent dip in rpm when at idle. It also hesitates and won't accelerate past 4k rpm. Normally when I start the jeep the blend door is closed. Recently it's been closing after I start it. This seems to be in conjunction with the stumble. The broken head will be fixed soon. I'm hoping this will help.

Doubtful the line has anything to do with it.

Maybe you've got a bad ball......

There's a possibility a check valve is getting bad. A thorough inspection is needed. That and some replacement CCV lines. It's a real love hate situation right now..
