No, it's just that I read many threads mentioning issues with cylinder #1. Was just wondering why cylinder #1 seems to be mentioned more often as being an issue than other cylinders...but maybe that could be my perception.
Ohhh. Not sure, cyl 1 is the coolest of the engine and 6 the hottest. Maye that has something to do with it. Cyl 6 issues are common for that reason.Originally Posted by Roler

Just the tailpipe, like this

Increased load on the alternator means the IAC lets more air in and the PCM dumps in more fuel. Alternator needs to turn faster to keep up with load.Originally Posted by 01Cherokee_Sport

Rock auto has the walker tail pipe, says 2.5" which is whilst I will be ordering next payday. Turn downs are such a bad idea.

I have checked all I know to check. Some days she will run just fine then just won't burn off all the fuel. I have a 90 Jeep Cherokee 4.0l. New map, o2, fuel pump, fuel filter, cleaned the intake. New spark plugs and wires, new distributor cap and router, cleaned all electrical connections, new injectors, and new ECM. Running out of ideas. Also did a compression test. All checks out fine. I even put all new fuel because a shop said I had bad gas. Anything would be awesome. Thanks

I seem to recall lug nut torque specs to be 85/115. Is that correct? And if so, which is for steel wheels and which is for aluminum?

The tool you mention sounds like something a gynecologist would use.
