The pics working for you on that one? They're not coming up on my phone.
I'm just curious where exactly people are cutting. I already hacked out a good chunk of the area to fit an impact gun on the shackle bolt.

Yeah fine on PC, iFail app, and Safari. Basically hack off the front and rear of the area below where the fender flares out like the door panels, fold the inside up and outside up and fasten it together. The new fold becomes level with the floor of the cargo area.
Some random interwebs pics. If these don't work either try turning your phone off and tossing it under a bus:

... or what? Lol
Those pics are perfect. Just what I needed to know. Hope I got enough metal left to fold the hacked up side together right.
I'm gonna weld it all up to hell with drilling rivets or screwing screws.

You have a 97+ living in NY, right? Just take off the bumper caps and look underneath. Your motivation will chip, flake, and fall off right in front of you lol

So... Let's say a friend was changing his valve cover on Saturday, he was using an 11mm socket and 1/4" wobble extension to get the rear bolt started back in and some freak wind and tectonic plate shifting made him drop them socket and extension down the CPS hole in the bell housing...
It's not up in front of the flywheel, it's back behind and resting somewhere with the torque converter, so the inspection plate isn't exactly an option.
How the hell can he get it out without dropping the tranny?

Turn the XJ upside down. People post pictures of it all the time. Tool should fall right out!
