Drove it for an hour with no problems, then all of a sudden I push in the clutch pedal and it goes to the floor, then I let off and it has pressure again. Its still shifting good and seems to be grabbing pretty close to normal, however the clutch pedal won't go to the floor. I have to force the pedal down to where it engages the clutch safety switch in order to start the Jeep. Going to bleed the slave cylinder tomorrow and take it from there. Only 3000 miles on a new clutch kit.
that's where I'd start.

has anyone tried swapping a WJ alternator bracket in place of the xj ac bracket to move the alternator to the top of the engine?

I have the wj bracket with the belt tensioner and I have a taurus fan for eliminating the mechanical fan.

also I already have no A/C just a bypass pulley where compressor was.

Need to grease the slip yoke on my 97 Cherokee Xj. What is the BEST and LONGEST lasting grease, or stuff to use. Ill also be changing the ujoints while im at it, but I want to do this once, and not have to pull it again, due to the rear end clunk I get from a start off .

Failed inspection today (that's what you get for taking an old Jeep to a damn Ford dealer because they're the only people in town who inspect!). Said reverse lights didnt work, rear left brake housing is cracked (barely a chip, not exposed and passed twice before), and my baja fog lights because they don't have D.O.T. numbers??? They're baja specials from AutoZone. Anyways, I think reverse lights are NSS because I also had trouble starting yesterday (no starter click or anything) until I wiggled the shifter. What do you all think?

I think inspections that are that meticulous are stupid. As long as the lights don't come on automatically then there's nothing wrong with them.

The reverse lights are most likely the NSS.

Are OME leaf springs still one of the best available? Thinking about getting those when I really do my rear end plus shackle relocations & bilsteins. Anyone care to comment? I am up 3" on the front, and using an AAL right now on the back.

I have found RE leaf packs for cheap but I read terrible things about their bushings.
