Hopefully you didn't have to take the spider gears out when you did your axle uv joints. its totally not necessary.
Im actually surprise you could hear it that's why I was suspecting the UV joints.
but if you spin one wheel and you are certain its not the UV joint, its most likely the spider gears.

A little wear on spider gear is fine, as long as they are not loose or chipped.

Thanks everyone. TJ it is. I knew one of them was a direct swap.
Well they sure seem to work OK on all the TJ's and ZJ's
My lift is 4.5 and right now I have no front end vibes. Angle seems to be fine. I'm actually going to lower it and go LCOG with long arms.
Like I said I can pick up a 4:10 TJ axle for around $250 or less. That extra money will go for the long arm kit.
HP D30 is not just good to clear rocks.. The front driveshaft angle will be better with any amount of lift. Besides, reverse rotation gears are stronger than standard rotation when installed in the front.
All LP D30's gears ride on the coast side of the gear when driving forward. a 30% lost in strength.

Replaced power steering pump on 98 cherokee sport due to bearing/seal failure. (My fault I over tightened new belt) Anyway after replacing pump and hoses steering is very difficult. Jacked front wheels and cycled lock to lock about 30 times. No help. No foam or bubbles. Steering box was working fine when pump failed. Could there be debris in system? How can I flush if so. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks
