Aye aye captain. I think youre right because it did this when i first bought it and forgot all about that issue. Last time we just shook it around and hit it and then it worked again lol.

 

I'm considering putting a 1000w inverter under my seat and running a cord to the cargo area as many others have done. What outlet should I purchase to have a flush mount. I would like 2 or 3 outlets with a usb and possibly something else

 

A bit of advice here. I learned this the hard way.

If the motor is loose from the linkage, remove the whole assembly, pivots and all. Remove the motor bolts one by one, put Loctite on them and reinstall. Then reinstall the whole assembly.

I did get the bolts tight without removing the assembly and have the scars to prove it.

 

Ive managed to get the bolts tighter but they were already really tight. The motor has almost no play at all. Everytime i turn my wiper switch i get a bunch of clicks that come from under the dash but nothing moves still

Edit. Its coming from a little black box thats velcroed to the lower dash piece. Cant remember what that is.

 

Intermittent Wiper box. It's factory.

 

Cool its only $100. Damnit.. the one day i planned to go wheeling.

Edit. Just decided to try one more time, and it works now... im assuming i should still replace it asap? Picknpull sounds good to me

 

is anybody using 3'' procomp leaf springs? just wondering how there gunna be and do i need new shackles for them or are the factory ones fine also what size u-bolts?

 

In the past 2 days my Jeep has been starting very weird. It will crank twice as long as normal and start idling extremely rough if it starts. If i turn it off and try again it starts perfect. Any ideas? 1998 inline 6.

 

Check the connection on your CPS, And refresh grounds mine did the exact same thing. I tried sea foam, and cleaning the NSS with no luck
I cleaned the CPS after a no start and havent had the problem since!

The question is.....installing my rear bumper I over torqued my bolts to the point the nuts actually bent in toward the bumper not realizing how thin it was. Has anyone else done this and did you have any problems if so how did you go about a repair? Solid bumper with shackles

 

im going to change my differential fluid soon in both of axles. how much fluid will i need i have a d35 with limited slip inthe back. also i found fluid that has the ls additive in it can i use this for my front even though it dosent have ls. also is there anything i should know about this project. seems pretty straightforward to me. thanks a lot.

 

2 bottles will do the rear. It's like 1.5 for the front.

LS additive is fine in a non-LS differential. Most synthetic lubes actually include it.

Get a lubelocker or be careful with your RTV. I've used Permatex Ultra Black with great success. Clean up the mating surfaces with a wire brush and brake cleaner before doing the silicone.

 

Anyone have any experience with this tool? I was about to order a scanner from Amazon and saw this for $5 more than the tethered product. I wonder if it's worth trying. Comments?
