Probably. Mine never had the stock harness plug, but most vehicles ive put head units in have maybe a tab or something to push while you pull out.

There's a tab on each connector. It takes a good bit of force to pull them out.

drove le xj to hickory and back this weekend only had a few hiccups and the shaking but im pretty sure the later is just from new/old tires and bad alignment
the former on the other hand i have no idea cuz i did new injectors and plugs but a handful of times she would jerk hard once or twice n then just keep getting it i just called them hiccups...dunno what it could be maybe need a new air filter and clean the tb? another friend suggested maybe a developing vacuum leak idk...

any suggestions?

also doing the h4 upgrade soon cuz in the rain with high on the whole time i could barely see then oncoming traffic yikes hold on for dear life and hope the white line doesnt disappear lol ugh

Question for anyone familiar with BW cut out flares. I'm going to install mine tomorrow which I got second hand. Can they be taken off down the road when I redo my plasti dip and then reinstalled? I just want to make sure the self tappers will be tight the second time around.

Should if not I don't see why you couldn't use nuts and bolts

You might could do it once. Most all self tapers that screw into sheet metal will be good for maybe one more reinstall in the same holes.

True but these screws aren't typical self tappers they aren't as course so I'm sure as long as I don't torque them down hard I'll be fine.. And yeah I could always do nut and bolt. The fronts would be easy but the rears would be a ***** haha

You guys think I could successfully paint them with this? They have a few scuffs in them here and there... But I don't wanna make a big project out of it...

lol @ the fact that's an XJ in the picture. I probably wouldn't paint them with that.. that paint is meant for plastic.. I would just spend the extra cash rather than do it with that and then possibly have to re-do it.

It sure sounds like the TPS is bad again. Test it. Don't guess.

TESTING PROCEDURE 1991 – 2001 4.0L H.O. engines

1. Near the rear of intake manifold, disconnect sensor pigtail harness connector from main wiring harness.
2. Place an ohmmeter across terminals B and C (SEE Image). Ohmmeter should be set to 1K-to-1OK scale for this test.
3. The meter reading should be open (infinite resistance). Replace sensor if a low resistance is indicated.
