I may run the soft ball idea as a temp bumpstop
When I upgrade to 32s.

I think i may have mis-said what i said.. I have one left, and its in the back. Lol. I'm just afraid a striker plate will limit the uptravel too much. But hell i havent even had a chance to flex mine yet.

Get the kind with a flat spot on them.
I'll be getting a 2" lift lift kit from them so my new tires won't rub.

Your compression is limited when your tires rub, anyway. The idea of proper bumpstops is to prevent that so you get max articulation without destroying your tires. A 1" striker plate is the same as 1" longer bumpstops.

My front is sagging and when I want over a bump when I was turning it the tire rubbed on the fender. It sounded like an Uzi

Oh that i know. My fenders and tires love each other. I havent *Needed* bumpstops as of yet because i've yet to need my suspension to really articulate. Besides when i jumped the jeep the other day.. Thought i blew all 4 of the flares off.

Unplug it and get a Metra harness. Match the Metra plugs to the factory harness, and solder or use crimp caps to attach the Metra harness wires to the new unit.

There should be a connector, unplug it. Then get a wiring kit for you jeep that plugs into the stock harness connector to give you a bunch of wires to wire in the new radio. Makes things SOOOO much easier.

Damn you clown.

And crimping and soldering is the hard way.. I always just use tape and/or wire nuts

No. You're wrong.

Seriously, at least use crimp caps (not butt splices), and tape the wires together so they don't pull apart behind the dash.
