I think i may have mis-said what i said.. I have one left, and its in the back. Lol. I'm just afraid a striker plate will limit the uptravel too much. But hell i havent even had a chance to flex mine yet.

Your compression is limited when your tires rub, anyway. The idea of proper bumpstops is to prevent that so you get max articulation without destroying your tires. A 1" striker plate is the same as 1" longer bumpstops.

Oh that i know. My fenders and tires love each other. I havent *Needed* bumpstops as of yet because i've yet to need my suspension to really articulate. Besides when i jumped the jeep the other day.. Thought i blew all 4 of the flares off.

Unplug it and get a Metra harness. Match the Metra plugs to the factory harness, and solder or use crimp caps to attach the Metra harness wires to the new unit.

There should be a connector, unplug it. Then get a wiring kit for you jeep that plugs into the stock harness connector to give you a bunch of wires to wire in the new radio. Makes things SOOOO much easier.
