What year YJ? If < 1990 I believe the appropriate response is "So... how's that 4.2L treating you? Yeah that's what I thought. Hey, once you're done playing Barbie with the rusted fenders, vacuum disconnect, rotten frame, and broke-*** carburetor can I have your block? I want to do a stroker in my station wagon"

lol. 2LO is handy but that doesn't make up for the unreliable design. And since when is the 80s D30 with vac disco and 260x U joints stronger than a solid shaft with 297x

I'm considering mounting my 6.5s in my lower dash, and I'm looking for opinions on strength (relative to speaker weight), audio or anything I may not be considering.
I'm looking at removing the vent below the steering wheel for one:
Attachment 187566
And I'm looking at cutting out the empty grille on the right for the second speaker:
Attachment 187567
EDIT: Measured wrong. #1 would be a very tight fit. #2 doesn't have enough surface area to mount.

so i am the new owner of a 2000 cherokee sport. this will be my first jeep an i am very excited to get it. i plan on changing my differential fluids but i have a question as to what viscosity i should use. i read that 75w-90 for everyday use but if i off road i should use 75-140. i plan on doing most of my driving on the roads with some off roading on the weekends. should i use 75w-110 since i will be doing a mix of the two?
