I just ripped mine out of my 90 on my lunch on monday. There is one hose on the i take manifold you will need to cut and plug, I removed the cruise control motor, all the wires going to it. All of the vaccume lines going to the ball. Everything on mine works fine. I removed all my a/c components but the compressor and Iv never had heat so it didnt change anything on mine.

You can just plug the line. The only problem I have is if the motor is under serious load the ac or heat come out the defrost. Other than that they all work great

I'm considering mounting my 6.5s in my lower dash, and I'm looking for opinions on strength (relative to speaker weight), audio or anything I may not be considering.
I'm looking at removing the vent below the steering wheel for one:

And I'm looking at cutting out the empty grille on the right for the second speaker:

EDIT: Measured wrong. #1 would be a very tight fit. #2 doesn't have enough surface area to mount.

Is there somewhere that you can buy axles such as a rear dana 44 that isnt G2? G2 only seems to sell $2500+ axles with arb and all that. Im still trying to find a jy 44 but id like to see if i can find one thats been refurbished or brand new built. Just curious really.

Buy one and rebuild it for a lot less than $2500.

Well ya i wouldnt spend that much for an axle. Im just looking for a place that does build them and will sell them far cheaper than G2, with or without all the lockers and gearing. Its just really hard to find a 44 around here.
