Another question, what rotella do you recommend? Planning on running 10w 40 for summer.
I just changed mine to 5w40 full synthetic rotella. Jeep seems to like it real well.

So I have an C8.25 rear axle with 3.55 gears. And a 230MM front axle. What is a 230mm axle? Dana 30?

I wanna move up to 33" tires this summer. I read that the strength of the 8.25 is comparable to the dana 44..

Sooo in order to put 33s on there I can leave the 8.25 and do the 29 spline conversion?? Anything else I need to do to it? What gearing would be better? It is my daily driver.

For the front axle.. What am I gonna need to do to put the 33s?

Put the 33s on and go with it. Unless you wheel hard you won't break anything. The best gear ratio would be either 4.56.

Yes, a lot of them are. Like odgreen. What a jerk

Really, I've seen three types of Wrangler drivers:
Yuppies who commute (very common)
"Nice Jeep" (fairly rare)
And
"That isn't a real Jeep" (common)

I cant stand the wrangler owners that buy a 2013 wrangler as a play thing. They're the ones that'll look at your stuff like its junk.

XJ Ask the Question Thread-forumrunner_20130418_120553.jpg

The previous owner did this and now everytime the engine or hose wiggles it sprays fuel on the intake and exhaust. Iv drivin it like this for a year and its just starting to spray. I didnt want to cut the hose off since i know if i do it will have to be repaired immediately and im not sure how id like to do it.

As far as I know thats the "inlet" fuel line on the renix generation. Can i cut it all off all the way down to the metal line under the cab and run fuel rated hose to the rail with hose clamps?

So don't need to do the 29 spline?

4.56 or what?

The 29 spline would be a nice upgrade. 4.56 or 4.88 if you ever want to run 35's. I'm on the same combo you want to run
