Yes, it would help cool both systems.

There's one commonly used on ComancheClub. I don't recall the model, but you could search there.

Most tranny coolers run in series returning to the transmission instead of before they enter the rad. Or at least that's how I did mine.

The hose running from the tranny line into the radiator on the top goes to the bottom of the aux cooler and then the too of the aux cooler returns to the tranny.

Also where would I install a transmission temperature sensor? Out line or return line?

Wouldn't putting the output line on top and the return line on bottom be better do to gravity? Or by having it your way the fluid stays in the cooler longer to cool more

Put a sensor on the return to transmission.

The line fills from the bottom to eliminate air pockets. I also put the cooler there so that when I run my e fan switch it pulls air across it
