Default Hank N Tap yoke leaking.

Has anyone that has done a Hack N Tap had the end of the yoke leak. Mine leaks from the end where the ujoint mounts. Not around the bolt but from the edge.

^ this. Those wiring harness connectors suck. The terminals always come lose after some time. Great upgrade though

Exactly. I recommend a dab of RTV on the connectors to hold them together. Also be sure to put dielectric grease in there so you don't end up with this:

Putco harness seems to be copper plated. That's how I found mine when I pulled the front clip, corroded and nearly disconnected. My headlights went out the night before in the mountains on the way to work.

They probably look like the below. Take apart the connectors, scrub the **** outta them with a brass wire brush, hit them with hexane or heptane electrical contact cleaner, re-assemble with electrician's grease like Gardner Bender OX-GARD or Ideal NOALOX (found at Home Depot, Lowes, etc)

Niiiiiiice! That looks like one of the work vans!

I hit the pins with NO-OX-ID, assembled, and then packed the connector with some cheap dielectric grease. RTV is a great idea for the crimp end of the connectors

That would have been quite frightening. I hope you at least had fog lights

Nope, just went black. Not even interior lights. It was overcast, and the only light anywhere was my gauges.

Blinker problems again. My left blinker worked and right did not. I could hear the relay clicking even though the blinkers didn't work. So, switch is good in the column. Bought new relay and plugged it in. Put in on the right blinker and the flash was inconsistent and the voltage gauge fluctuated every time the lamp flashed along with an audible strain on the engine. I walked around to check the bulbs and eventually it quit working, so it blew a fuse. Now I have no blinkers and am chasing a short somewhere that caused the right not to work... Any ideas? The relay only had two prongs, so a 12v in and and output from the thermal relay... Suggestions or comments?

Wiring diagram and trace every wire in the system. I bet you find a melted hunk of wires somewhere. Look at the headlight switch, ignition switch and bulb pigtails first.
