Sounds like the remote is going bad/ has gone bad, and its because its sending equal power front and rear so it makes it want to kinda skip on pavement (hope you dont actually use 4x4 on pavement)

When I start my jeep in the mornings the rpms Distributor ignition pickup to 2,000 rpm and stays that way for about 5 seconds then levels out at 760 rpm. Is that normal? Also can a bad cam position sensor cause bad mpg?

If your cam sensor is bad you should get a code. Check for CEL's

I would like to add an alarm. Have keyless entry on my 2000 cherokee sport. Any suggestions. Tried searching threads, couldn't find anything about adding alarm to factory installed keyless entry.

Mopar had a alarm that was called EVS II security System which used your factory remotes that was available through the parts department back in the day. I added quite a few to several deals during my time at the dealership. With plenty of padding to bump my commission up too. You might be able to find one on eBay.

Viper makes great alarm systems, you can include in remote start while you're at it.

Can someone tell me how the fuel doors on 96s or before are supposed to open? I'm assuming you push in and they pop out? Because mine doesn't... good thing I have small hands I guess...

Yeah that's what I do but it doesn't really work.. I have to stick my fingers between the top edge and the body and pry.
It probably has something to do with the fact that the door is really crooked, idk

Got a high idle, its the iac making it happen, but I think it may be ecu related, I've dicked with the damn tps all day, I'm getting another in the mail asap, it idles at 3k+ very hard to drive, big pain in the *** , gone over cruisers renix tips, done all that . Anyone know what the input voltage is supposed to be on the tps?

That's what I thought, according to my master service manual it's like 4.6-4.7 and according to my POS volt meter it's actually 1.88, I hate renix with a passion. I guess that means ecu/pcm any other thoughts?
