Default Best shocks for a smooth ride...

Looking for the best ride possible. Not looking for any kind of performance, no stump jumping, no rock crawling, none of that. This is a stock 1990 Cherokee, not lifted, nothing. I just want a smooth cushy ride on broken pavement and rocky dirt roads. Something like a '62 Buick would be good. What are the best shocks for this? Don't care what it costs, within reason.
Thanks!

I do like my zones though, but she handles like a smooth truck

I installed a new exhaust that I am very happy with. My tailpipe is in a tight spot between my leaf and my gas tank, and my bumper is not stock so it drops lower. It is contacting the bolt for the shackle however and is a slight problem. The way I rigged the hangers is poor but not the issue. If I cut the pipe off right in the middle of the tank area will that be a problem dumping exhaust so close to the fuel?

Not really. Its pretty straight forward. Have you ever rebuilt a carb before?

Hi. Newbie question. While doing some work I failed to mark the fuel injector wires. What should I do when I put it back together?

Yesterday while out wheeling I noticed that going down a long hill about 2 steep miles in 4Hi putting the automatic trans into 1-2 gear doesn't really do much. If I put it into 4Lo and 1-2 I could crawl down without touching my brakes. Problem was I had a long way to go and 4Lo was to slow.

I read somewhere a while back that there is a mod or fix to the controller for the automatic trans that will make the 1-2 work in 4Hi and 2wheel drive.

Anyone know how to do this.

Thanks,

RSWiser

I recently purchased a 96 Cherokee with 200k miles on it and it has crack in the exhaust manifold however I will be replacing it shortly but my question is this. I am new to Jeep and their 4WD system while mine works I did notice that the turning radius is cut in half when its in 4WD hi or lo but in 2wd its fine and on pavement it acts like the rear Diff is locked when in 4WD hi or lo is this normal? I did try the 4WD in a grassy field shorty after I bought it and it seemed fine but again on pavement its like it has a locked diff.
